Groundwater is one of the most crucial drinking water sources in Kurdistan. Development, urbanization, and human activities Erbil have led to a decline amount quality groundwater. This research aims investigate examine groundwater Kaniqrzhala (Erbil dumpsite) central basin Erbil, as well impact landfill this region. The investigation encompasses around 27 wells. static level assessed movement route contaminant transfer. All wells are sampled for criteria such turbidity (pH value, TDS, chloride, calcium, magnesium, hardness, nitrate, sodium, iron, copper). Surfer software version (16) was used study direction flow; contamination investigated using GIS program (10.6.1). result showed flow toward Greater Zab River; many suffer from high contamination. effect appears area. transport Kaniqurzala should be studied predict future modeling software.
